Overview:

The FORMULATION AND FEED SALES SUPPORT facilitates the overall success of Feed Divisional sales by ensuring correct orders are entered, communicated to other departments, and completed.

Essential Duties:

• Enter Sales Orders into Agris software.
• Write Sales Orders using existing template.
• Ensure all bid deadlines are tracked as well as completing the Bid sheets.
• Ensure timely turnaround time on formula changes and/or new formulas.
• Accumulate volume on specific ingredients and return to appropriate business unit.
• Get the necessary information on new ingredients.

Education:

• B.S. Degree in Animal Science or Agriculture Business
  

Experience:

• Microsoft Office applications and general office experience required.
• Knowledge of Feed Ingredients and Livestock preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Comfortable with numbers and office procedures.
• Strong Reading comprehension
• Strong Math Skills
• Strong Detail Orientation skills
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures of the company, looking out for co-workers’ well-being.
• Ability to conduct self in a positive manner which displays a collective teamwork environment to co-workers and customers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Applications.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to manage time and meet required deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data with a range of $18-$22/hour.
